So we got a response from Credit Access, and the conditions are clearly not for us. They reference us having owned 5 properties – we haven’t. The MC listed our employment as self-employment, but we’re not. It says we need a 12 month VOR when we’ve only been renting for 3 months. I emailed our MC back right away, but he hasn’t responded. What’s the best way to get this corrected? It seems like there are MAJOR issues with our file now.

Same as when you get mail intended for your neighbor. Obviously someone else’s conditions were sent to you by mistake. This should be a simple fix.

Of course our MC got back to me as I was writing this.. We’ve had a lot of confusion in the past that was difficult to get our MC to understand. Luckily it sounds like he’s clear that this was a mistake, so I’m more hopeful.

Here we are, 6 days later, and the original incorrect Conditions haven’t been addressed. Now the UW is asking for something that doesn’t exist – rental verification for 12 months when we’ve only been renting for 4. This is all a bit unsettling.

@BakertheBaker that is unfortunate! Its a good thing that your closing date is a bit far out. That’s what makes me more at ease. I didn’t hear anything for almost two weeks after providing all of the documents for credit access. Still haven’t been submitted for credit access and don’t know what’s going on. But I’m just trying to be patient.

I hope it all works out for you.
