Closing Disclosure

My closing has been scheduled for Monday. Who does the closing disclosure come from? Does my MC contact the person to make sure it’s sent to me? Is tomorrow the latest I should be receiving it to close on Monday?

Yayyyy congrats!!! The CD comes from the bank. NACA will notify you when it has been mailed. You will receive it 3 business days or more before closing. Most likely today or at the latest tomorrow.

Did you get a confirmation email from your counselor?

How do I wire monies if I need to take anything to closing?

Call the title company they should be able to give you all those details. I think you need a cashier’s check. If you want to wire money, your counselor will give you all the details on that as well.

Is title company same as closing attorney office?

Yes, I think it varies by location. But in your case, yes the attorney office would have that information.

The documents have been pulled already. I was able to get the master HOA insurance from the sellers.

Great. Hopefully the CTC will be in the next 10 minutes or so. I sure hope I get the closing disclosure tomorrow.

Hopefully you get is soon too! When they sent me mine, it came later in the evening and they included the tracking number from UPS that the bank gave them.

Hello SpecialK1975,

The CD is generated by the bank and usually comes UPS, FedEx, etc. The law requires three business days between the CD issuance and the closing.

Nowadays, Saturdays are considered business days, so they could issue as late as Thursday and still have a Monday closing.

Thank you Tim. I was surly concerned on how would I know if I need money at closing, and if tomorrow was the final date to receive it. I will keep you all posted.
