My sale date yesteday for listed for March 16th, today it shows NA and says the “attorney has been contacted and no new sale date has been set”. It also says my file has been “submitted to PMI Investor for approval”. Can you explain what this all means to me? We’ve been existing month to month with these 30 day sale date extensions granted at the last minute, is this a good sign? Or am I reading more into it than it warrants? Thanks Tim, We’re still hanging in here!

    Hello chriso,

Those are indeed good signs. The continued postponements mean that they are actively looking at the modification proposal. Additionally, the investor review seems to be because your mortgage appears to potentially fall under the recent agreement between the banks and the 49 state Attorneys General, which is a very hopeful sign!

You’ve got the right attitude. Don’t give up!

    Thanks!
