For over a year and a half we have been complying with NACA providing them with everything that they ask for! The first problem that we had with Naca is that the first MC assigned to our web file gave us all our conditions to bring in after 3 months of payment shock. Once those three months passed we were assigned a new MC and we came to find out that our first MC never saved any of our documents into the system and we were told that because of this we had to start over with our payment shock. Over the next 4 months we kept providing them with all the documents they needed and once we thought we were almost there more conditions were added. During this time our web file online wasn’t working so everything had to be sent to our MCs email or we had to drive 30 minutes downtown to the Naca office to scan everything in. Fast forward to June of this year and during a online achieve the dream we finally got qualified. We couldn’t believe it. We started our housing search and after 4 failed offers we finally got an offer accepted on a beautiful home,perfect location, perfect everything! We were head over heels.. but ever since we came in contract it has been a night mare. we provide them with everything that they need and everything we give them all the documents needed more issues come up. Apparently there is a mistake on our credit report in terms of an address and Naca will not refuse to submit our file to the bank unless we get it cleared on our credit report. I was able to get a letter from the credit bureau saying that all is well with my credit. We are 12 days away from closing on our home and because of this our file hasn’t even been submitted. Now our MC is saying he doesn’t understand how we got qualified in the first place. Feels like we’ve moved earth wind and sky to get them what they need from the credit bureaus but they work slow especially since with some of them everything is by mail.I don’t understand why this issue wasn’t addressed before we got qualified. I don’t know what to do and ready to call it quits.. if the seller doesn’t agree with extending our closing. If we can ever get our file to the bank that is. Miraculously we were able to get our contract extended. The bank came back with no conditions which even the Naca staff couldn’t believe. The bank came back with a clear to close august 27th and we closed on the 9th of September. It took a lot of prayer and persistence. @Genny13 I am supposed to close today and it’s not happening. I had a condition come back regarding my student loan and hopefully they will give the ACA, then CTC and final. Hopefully next week will be my lucky week. My fingers are crossed. The seller is getting impatient so hopefully the stars align.
