“Even though a decade has passed since the housing bubble burst, hundreds of thousands of homeowners across the country still have a great need for help, so NACA continues to be relentless in advocating for homeowners” states Bruce Marks, Founder and CEO of NACA. “We are grateful to Mayor Torres for reaching out to us and asking NACA to conduct this event. NACA continues to provide affordable modifications nationwide. We do not take no for an answer and encourage homeowners to join NACA in advocating for affordable solutions.” NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) is a non-profit HUD-certified community advocacy and home ownership organization, established in 1988 and has more than 40 offices across the country.
|NACA’s Home Save program has more helped more than a quarter-million homeowners across the country avoid foreclosure by modifying their unaffordable mortgages. NACA has legally binding agreements with the major lenders plus Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, getting interest rates permanently reduced to as low as a 2% fixed rate and sometimes eliminating a portion of the principal.
And all of NACA’s services are free of charge.
NACA’s twenty-nine years of advocacy and activism have made affordable and responsible home ownership a reality for tens of thousands through their Purchase Program and saved more than a quarter-million homes from foreclosure with mortgage modifications through their Home Save program.
