Thanks Tim! We went to the office last week and they told me they didn’t think underwriting would approve us if we were already in contract so I talked to my realtor and the builder voided the original contract, and is gonna write a new one. We’re just going to keep the escrow money with the law firm.
It worked out great!
There is no PMI with NACA.
You’re looking at 2 numbers. You’re looking at the % and the FFIEC number. If the % is over 100% you have to be less than the FFIEC. If the % is less than 100% it doesn’t matter.
Ours was scheduled 3 months out. (our workshop was in december). We were sent to underwriting last week. They called us 3 days after the workshop and asked if we wanted to be moved up 2 months, the next week asked if we could come in the next day.
Let them know you’re ready and they’ll call. Have your stuff together.
Following for updates! Ours moved as well. 🙂
This makes me feel better. We don’t have to do a payment shock or anything so hopefully after our January meeting we can go ahead and start building.
